I really enjoyed exploring and creating with the online image generator. This tool could be used in a school setting not only to enhance a presentation of information to the students, but also increase the creativity of the teachers in keeping their students focused on the presentation .

I explored the Syndi8 search tool and liked using the "various category" listing and the capability of expanding a search.

Week 4, Thing 8

Working with the RSS and newsreader was exciting. I was fascinated at how quickly information could be retrieved without having to go through a lengthy and timely process. This Technology tool could be considered a valuable resource: (1) for students trying to locate information for a research project quickly, (2) for teachers seeking specific articles for lesson plans or professional development, and (3)for an individual's personal reading pleasure.

Week 3, Thing 7

After opening my Flickr account and previewing some of the photographs on that website, I decided to try my own photographic skills with a Digital camera to share with my friends. It is amazing to think of the many hours that it took to update the card catalog and how technology has made it possible to obtain the same information in a matter of minutes using a variety of resources.
